The Role
As the National Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing all operational aspects of our business. Your role will involve allocating responsibilities according to priority, enhancing productivity and efficiency in equipment and personnel management, and ensuring the smooth operation of our business on a national level.
- Develop and implement operational strategies and procedures aligned with business objectives and plans.
- Manage and mentor a team of logistics professionals, identifying workforce needs to meet future demands.
- Oversee workload and task assignments for your direct reports while supervising junior, full-time, and casual warehouse staff.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Key Criteria
To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience within the entertainment technical industry.
- A strong understanding of and passion for the entertainment industry.
- Proven experience in leading and motivating high-performing teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OH&S requirements and maintaining compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and operational experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
- Ability to forward plan and prioritize workload effectively.
- A current driver’s license is required, and a HR & Forklift license is preferred.
