XPERIENCE '24

It’s been a big couple of years at ResX, and in August the whole Resolution X team took a moment to gather together with clients, colleagues, and friends of the company to celebrate some major milestones by hosting a showcase at our Sydney and Melbourne offices.

The showcases provided an opportunity to see our warehouses, including the newly re-opened Melbourne site following the February 2024 fire, meet the wider Resolution X team, and check out some of our latest inventory.

Transforming a warehouse into an event space while still delivering productions and hires is no small undertaking and it took significant teamwork and collaboration across all parts of the business to pull off.

The evening was designed to be relaxed, with lots of opportunities to get up close to the equipment and play on our latest MA3 and ETC consoles as well as our two remote followspot solutions – Macula and Follow-Me. Stand-out equipment included the Martin MAC One quartets, mounted on Clay Paky Panify using ResX custom manufactured boards, the Clay Paky Volero Wave and ROXX B2 blinder and S2 strobe.

There were also a number of special demo trusses allowing for side-by-side shootout of a wide variety of new and classic profiles and washes, along with a striking display of beam lights. We were also delighted to have a pre-release Viper XIP to shoot out against a classic Viper Profile.

While the bright and shiny gear often gets all the glory, there was plenty of hard working practical equipment on display too including some of our new Global PR64 Pre-Rig truss, our own Browns T2, 400mm and 500mm Box truss including various circular sizes.

The event was a testament that 25 years on, the fundamental principles that Resolution X was built on remain unchanged – ResX IS quality gear, serviced by the best people and service. It is that simple.
