It’s been an eventful couple of years at Resolution X. In August, the entire team came together with clients, colleagues, and friends to celebrate 25 years in Australia by hosting a special showcase event at our Sydney and Melbourne warehouses.
The showcase events provided an opportunity for guests to tour our facilities, including the newly re-opened Melbourne site following the February 2024 fire. Attendees also had the chance to meet the wider Resolution X team and explore some of our latest equipment and technology.
Transforming a warehouse into an event space while simultaneously managing ongoing productions and rentals is no easy task. This ambitious endeavour required extensive teamwork and collaboration across all departments within the company. Every team member played a crucial role, ensuring that logistics, equipment setup, and operational needs were seamlessly coordinated. The result was a successful event that showcased our capabilities while maintaining our commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Macula Remote Followspot
The evening was intentionally designed to be laid-back and relaxed, offering lots of opportunities to get up close to the equipment and try out our latest MA3 Lighting grandMA3 and ETC Eos Apex 10 24K Consoles, along with two of our remote followspot solutions – The Macula Remote Followspot System and Follow-Me 3D Remote Followspot System. Product highlights included the Martin MAC One quartets, mounted on Claypaky Panify using ResX custom manufactured boards, the Claypaky Volero Wave and ROXX B2 blinder and S2 strobe.
Several special demo trusses were available for side-by-side comparisons of various new and classic profiles and washes, complemented by a striking display of beam lights. We were also delighted to have a pre-release Martin MAC Viper XIP to test against a classic Martin MAC Viper Profile.
While the bright and shiny gear steals the spotlight, we also showcased a range of practical, hard-working equipment, including some of our new Global PR64 Pre-Rig trusses, and Resolution X’s own Browns T2, 400mm and 500mm Box truss including various circular sizes.
The event was a testament that 25 years on, the fundamental principles that Resolution X was built on remain unchanged – ResX is quality gear, delivered by the best people and service.
