Resolution X provided lighting and rigging for a high profile event celebrating 100 years of QANTAS.

A huge variety of over 400 fixtures was used to create an immersive experience for 1000+ VIP guests inside a legendary QANTAS hangar. Lighting & rigging transformed the space across two stages, creating a range of effects for exclusive performances by Kylie Minogue, Tones and I, Budjerah & Bangarra Dance Theatre.

A range of techniques were used to ensure each zone had a glamorous retro feel. The expansive hangar and red carpet entrance were illuminated with technology from Martin Professional, Claypaky, Chauvet, Showpro, Ayrton, Astera and more.

The team was stoked with the result! The project benefited from incredible design and production by the team at Rizer Global, technical direction by Matthew Teale from Eat The Elephant, & lighting design by Tom Wright.
