Resolution X was chosen by lighting designer Cam McKaige to supply two Australian tours of the hugely popular Tim Minchin – Back tour across Australia.
The tour featured old songs from his previous musical comedy shows and songs from his stage musicals Matilda, Groundhog Day and his TV series Upright. It also featured new songs reflecting Minchin’s past experiences, relationships, social and political views.
The lighting rig proved the versatility of the ever-reliable Clay Paky Unico fitting and introduced audiences to the power of the Collider FC Strobe as well as a host of other popular products in the range. The ResX workshop also provided custom rigging components to attach the Clay Paky A.leda B-EYE K20 units to the top of the set columns providing a one-stop show solution to the production.
