Newcastle saw the launch of Harvest Rain’s Wizard of Oz Arena Spectacular. This all-new arena presentation of THE WIZARD OF OZ brings one of the most beloved fantasy tales of all time to life in a way never seen before, featuring over 500 performers on stage. Wizard of Oz will tour the country over the coming months, with Resolution X supplying the lighting rig for the entire tour.
The Newcastle leg of the tour saw a huge number of fixtures and even more rigging, with Martin MAC Viper Profiles, Quantum Wash, Claypaky Scenius Profiles & Unicos, Sharpys, Robert Juliat Merlin Followspots, as well as our chain motors, 400mm box truss, and a heap of LED fixtures and atmospherics. The entire rig is controlled via a grandMA2 Light + NPUs, also running a tracking backup.
