ResX was proud to provide Rich Grenfell with some very new fixtures for Crown Casino’s New Year’s Eve celebrations at the Palladium Ballroom. This was the first outing for the new LED Hi-Bays which formed the backdrop for the stage area. These are a new fixture designed and manufactured by ResX using a massive reflector with an RGB LED centre that provides a big look with very little weight and even less power consumption.
Rich Grenfell also leapt at the opportunity to use the new Martin MAC Quantum Profiles as well as the Clay Paky K20 B-Eyes that provided a great selection of looks for the crowd that partied on into the wee small hours of 2015.
It wasn’t all new LED fixtures, Rich showed off some of his trademark overlay gobo skills ‘painting’ the walls with multi-coloured flowers projected with Selecon Pacifics and ETC Source Fours. The flowers and stage LEDs all worked into the 70’s Austin Powers theming for the event.
