Resolution X, Australia’s leading specialist lighting and rigging company, gave thanks to the front-line heroes fighting the COVID-19 pandemic on Wednesday night as part of the national ‘Light Unite’ movement. Showing our heartfelt thanks to all emergency workers, Resolution X helped to light buildings across Australia with spectacular light shows, including colour, movement, and custom imagery. The #LightUniteAus hashtag flooded social media, with over 80 companies across Australia taking part in the initiative. Light Unite not only shows our respect to all fighting the pandemic, but it also draws attention to the plight of the entertainment industry in these dark times.
Our Melbourne team illuminated the iconic Alfred Hospital’s facade, as well as the buildings of Lightmoves and Resolution X. Utilizing some of our latest outdoor equipment, including the ShowPro Neptune 200 Beams, Neptune 400 Hybrids, Claypaky Mythos, Martin MAC Vipers (in weatherproof enclosures), and our Griven 4000W Searchlights, our teams painted the buildings with light. Our Sydney team showed their support by lighting our new Homebush West warehouse with colour & messages of support, using ShowPro Colliders, Neptune 400 Hybrids, and Martin MAC Vipers.
Australia’s response to the #LightUniteAus movement was tremendous. Resolution X received considerable coverage across all free-to-air television stations, radio networks and newspaper media. Light Unite was also well received right across Australia with our clients, suppliers, and competitors all banding together to support such a worthy cause.
From the bottom of our hearts we wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to the heroes fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Stay safe and stay home!
